Photographing Supermodels
When we have honored God by following his will, he is quick to remind us how lucky we are.

After Terri had fallen asleep tonight, I decided to finish working on some Clairmont business in my office. I finished up a couple hours later, and before I joined Terri in her slumbering, I decided to quickly check my facebook page.
This is not a common event for me, but I find time at least once a week to see who has poked me and how many of my friends are now engaged.
After I logged in, my eyes were immediately drawn to a group of vibrant photographs of supermodels in bikinis. Upon quick and careful review, I found out that these were shots taken by a friend of mine from high school.
I was intrigued because these were very professional looking pictures (like something you would see out of a magazine). I thought maybe he was being a tool and he had uploaded a bunch of pictures from the internet of hot girls that he drooled over and then claimed to be their photographer. (likely hypothesis)
I clicked on his profile to investigate further, and oddly enough, they were his.
As it turns out, he had started up his own photography business and has been doing high profile photo shoots for models and actresses all over the country.
Along with that, I found out that he also owns an online web development company that has clients from businesses like HP and the Air Force.
I strange feeling of jealousy welled up in me.
This guy is my age, graduated last year with a sociology degree, and now he owns his own company and is traveling the country rubbing elbows with beautiful models.
I quickly realized, after seeing a picture of him on his new speed boat, that nothing positive could come from sticking around and it was time to shut down and go to bed.
I turned off the computer and headed back to my room where Terri, being dead asleep, was sprawled out diagonally, authoritatively claiming ownership over the entire bed.
I smiled, and then I crawled under the covers and gently nudged her legs back over to her side, being careful not to wake her.
She shifted slightly in her sleep and let out a dainty, tiresome sigh.
I looked at her and smiled again. Then I leaned over, kissed her once on the cheek, whispered “I love you” into her ear, and turned over to fall asleep.
I am living the dream.

Michael,
You truly have a great talent in writing articles. Who knows, you could be the next John Grisham (famous book author).
Your proud Dad
